EverFocus UK appoints Peter Robinson as business development manager
Peter will be responsible for ensuring EverFocus capitalises on growth opportunities
EverFocus UK has appointed Peter Robinson as its business development manager to drive sales growth across EverFocus' range of HD-CCTV products.

EverFocus Electronics Corporation, a global top 20 global professional security equipment manufacturer1, has welcomed Peter Robinson as its business development manager. Peter will be responsible for ensuring EverFocus capitalises on growth opportunities from the adoption of its HD-CCTV DVRs and cameras, which offer the simplest upgrade path to high definition (HD) for coaxial based surveillance installations.

Peter brings over 30 years of industry experience to EverFocus. He started his career in Sheffield as a bench engineer working with domestic televisions. He made the move to London, working for Kings Cross Video servicing RCA surveillance equipment and then worked as Northern Regional Manager for distributors CCD which were later bought by Norbain. After CCD, Peter was recruited by Dave Simpson at AGE CCTV and during his time years at AGE he was promoted to Managing Director.

After leaving AGE, Peter worked for ADI Gardiner as their UK CCTV Product Manager, before being recruited by Ikegami as General Manager for EMEA responsible for the Visual Electronics and Systems Division for security surveillance and medical products.

Peter is well known within the industry and has a track record of success in developing sales channels for new surveillance technology. He had kept a close eye on EverFocus and the progress it has made in bringing HD-CCTV products to market, and was attracted to the company by the huge potential that HD-CCTV offers for resellers, integrators and end users.

Peter Robinson, business development manager, EverFocus Electronics UK, commented:

"EverFocus has an enviable portfolio of HD-CCTV products that make it very simple for surveillance installations that use coaxial cable to upgrade to HD. My role is to ensure that EverFocus attracts new channel partners and maximises the sales opportunities that HD-CCTV offers. We need to educate the market that HD quality is available for everyone who currently has analogue, coaxial based installations, and show how easy it is to upgrade to HD's fantastic image quality."

Basil Singh, managing director, EverFocus Electronics UK, commented:

"Peter brings a huge amount of experience to EverFocus and he understands how HD-CCTV will be pivotal in upgrading the vast majority of surveillance installations that utilise coaxial cabling.  We have had significant sales success with our EverFocus HD-CCTV products and Peter's appointment will see further acceleration of our plans as we bring on new distribution and integration partners, and showcase end-users who have adopted EverFocus products."
