Roadworthy CCTV solution for TVR Power

Published on 10 April 2007

TVR Power is an approved service with over 20 years involvement in TVR engineering.  From development of engines for road and racing, to one-off prototype cars, TVR Power offers a team of highly skilled and factory trained staff based at their extensive onsite engineering facilities.

Increasing security is of central importance to TVR Power.  Following a recent break-in they are committed to keeping all customers' vehicles fully secure.  This includes investing in a new digital CCTV solution to monitor day to day activities.

TVR Power approached Blenheim Security Installers as they wanted to ensure their premises were secure.

After extensive research and demonstrations, Blenheim selected LILIN CCTV products to meet TVR Power's security requirements.  With the aim of making the site's activities as accessible and visible as possible, IP camera technology was implemented to allow the viewing of live and recorded images, over the Internet.  Taking less than one day to install, various cameras were mounted onto different locations to get a thorough view of the site.

The installation of cameras at TVR Power allows the general manager and security staff to monitor site activities from a remote location.  Accessed via a single web page, users can select any one of the preset cameras to view different areas located throughout the premises.

Using cameras and digital video recorders from LILIN, TVR Power has an advanced CCTV solution to monitor their day to day activities.

The high levels of activity and the huge value of customers' cars at TVR Power have made the CCTV solution provided by LILIN very cost effective.  The combination of cameras and digital video has satisfied TVR Power's requirements, enough to expand the solution to other areas of the business.

Security staff can chart the latest incidents at TVR Power using the dedicated equipment.  This enables staff to get a better overview of the site to find out what is happening and when.  The cameras cover all areas of TVR Power's premises, providing security surveillance and monitoring the efficiency of the operation.

LILIN's CCTV products provided the functionality to be used in a unique environment whilst maintaining reliability.  Chris Young, Blenheim Security, commented:  "LILIN products offer excellent value for money.  Robust and flexible, they were the most suitable, high quality products for our customer's requirements."
