Videotec report success at IFSEC

Videotec is reporting a significant increase in the number of customers and new visitors popping into its stand and an excellent response to its products on show at the recent IFSEC 2006.

Videotec has released at the show some new versions of ULISSE, equipped with Infra Red illuminators, for complete day/night surveillance, achieving effective 24/7 monitoring.

Further to the possibility of installing your choice of cameras/lens and wiper option, ULISSE, equipped with two big IR, ensures the complete coverage of an area wherever the camera moves, even in low light conditions (using a speed dome for 360°IR coverage you may need 8 pcs of 45° flood illuminators). 

Assembled with a wideflood and a spot IR, ULISSE offers the freedom to utilize the zoom without the speed dome limitation, due to IR illumination distance.  The unit is easier to install and without need to adjust camera angle of view with IR angle of illumination.  ULISSE then can be easy integrated with VMD and intelligent video analysis systems, dramatically increasing their effectiveness.

ULISSE has been chosen as one of the finalists from an array of more than 1000 entries worldwide for the Best New CCTV Products category.  Others finalist includes Bosch, CIEFFE, Dallmeier Electronic, Dedicated Micros and Siemens.
