Vicon reports success at BSEC North after exhibiting a range of IP, analogue and hybrid CCTV technologiesPublished on 3 November 2009
BSEC conferences have taken place in the UK for the last five years but this was the first targeted at the north of England. They are highly regarded as being a major source of information and inspiration for people involved in school building programmes and who wish to share ideas on best practice and design issues to maximise the returns from schools' capital expenditure. One of the key subjects that the Conference explored was the building of academies and primary schools in the context of the Primary Capital Programme. Vicon exhibited its range of IP, analogue and hybrid CCTV technologies including video encoders and decoders, the virtual matrix controller, and a range of recording platforms. "This was a fabulously successful show for us," said Richard Allen-Miles, UK Sales Director for Vicon. "There were 300 delegates in attendance and we were able to see a good many of them during the various networking breaks and throughout the show. Our message of capability built on decades of experience in the UK security industry in general - and in UK schools and universities in particular - had real resonance with the delegates." |
