Altronix to showcase rack mount battery enclosure at ISC West 2012

The RE2 enclosure accommodates back-up batteries for rack-mounted power supply/chargers

Altronix, the leading manufacturer of low voltage power supplies and peripherals for the electronic security industry, is displaying a unique rack mount battery enclosure here at ISC West. The RE2 enclosure is designed to neatly accommodate back-up batteries for rack-mounted power supply/chargers.

“The RE2 is designed to house batteries in a rack configuration to provide a simple yet highly efficient means of ensuring system operations during power failure conditions,” said Alan Forman, President, Altronix.

The RE2 Rack Mount Battery Enclosure features a 2U rack mount chassis for use in standard EIA 19” racks. The unit accommodates up to four (4) 12VDC/17AH batteries and features quick-release terminal blocks for easy installation.
