Mobotix unveils roadmap for security developments for 2010 
The Mobotix 2010 roadmap includes the release of a new HiRes camera new door communications products 
SourceSecurity.com recently attended the much-anticipated Mobotix UK and Ireland National Partner conference at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Heathrow. The event consisted of technical and product releases, partner presentations, live demonstration and the prestigious Mobotix Gala Awards Dinner.

During day two of the event, founder,visionary and CEO of Mobotix, Dr. Ralf Hinkel unveiled the Mobotix roadmap for 2010 and beyond. This outlined the release of the new multi-functional HiRes M24M camera, successor to the M22M, including a new microprocessor and a modified system platform. There was also a move towards the access control market with a planned introduction of a new door communications product range based on the international VoIP/SIP video telephony standard and finally a run through of the new features added to the well-received open software MxEasy video management system.

Beyond the networking and the technical announcements, partners were also invited to share their success stories showcasing the versatility and efficient cost of the "decentralised" concept of Mobotix cameras. It was insightful to see how this concept could not only save money but also improve the quality of images captured.

Hosts' global marketing director Peter McKee and UK & Ireland country manager Mike Lewis ended the night with the presentation of the Mobotix awards at the Gala dinner. The awards were given to the company's who were the best performers and most outstanding partners.
