Bewator Launches Security Systems Seminar Programme

Published on 12 October 2005

Access security specialist, Bewator, has launched a series of security system seminars across a range of business sectors, from retail to healthcare, education, transport and local governments. The latest seminar, taking place today at the Corus hotel in Bracknell, focuses on the retail & banking sector.

Bewator seminars have been developed to keep end users of security solutions informed and up to date with the latest developments in security technologies and systems, and provide an insight into how to protect security investments in the long run. They also aim to demonstrate how security solutions can also be cost effective when used in the right context.

The retail seminar, for example, focuses on using CCTV monitoring and recording equipment in combination with access control and intruder alarm management systems, for multi-site surveillance.  It will show end users how to realise benefits such as increased profitability, safe working conditions for staff, efficient deterrents against violence and crime, reduced losses to thefts, and customer privacy with regards to Chip and PIN technology.

Rickard Hammarberg, team leader for the Systems Group division comments; “We believe that many retailers are unaware of how to realise the full potential of their security systems. That is why we have developed these seminars, which not only highlight the latest technology on the market, but also the most effective way to use it.”

“The seminars further underline our commitment to providing customers with the information and technology they need to meet their specific security requirements, in a cost effective way,” he continued.

In addition to Bewator’s own integrated solutions, such as the 2010 integrated system, Entro and Granta access control systems, SOLARIS dome camera and Eventys digital video recorder (DVR) and Remote Monitoring Centre (RMC), the Retail seminar will also include information on other integrated security solutions. Specific areas of security covered include:

· Access control
· Digital Video Recording & Management Systems
· Cameras & Domes with privacy functions – looking at loss prevention and crime deterrents
· Intruder alarms

Concludes Rickard Hammarberg: “With these seminars, Bewator positions itself as an information provider for end-users. We work with an established network of security installers, distributors and integrators, who have the skills and experience to commission cost-effective systems, based on the technology developed by Bewator. Forthcoming seminars will address similar concerns, but focus on different business sectors, such as education, healthcare, local government authorities and logistics.”
