Three lucky ASIS attendees spotted with “I got IT!” buttons win plasma TVs from Panasonic Security Systems

Published on 27 September 2005

Panasonic Security Systems repeated its highly successful “I got IT!” Plasma TV give-away promotion at the ASIS show in Orlando, FL this month following the success of the promotion kick-off at the ISC-West Show in April of this year. Three additional lucky individuals will receive Panasonic 42” Plasma TVs at their doorsteps after being spotted wearing Panasonic “I got IT!” buttons on the show floor last week in Orlando. A total of three Plasma TVs were awarded over the course of the three-day show. Each Panasonic Plasma TV is valued at $2,500 each.

“We wanted to build on the momentum of the ‘I got IT!’ promotion at the ASIS show after it worked so well at the ISC-West show in April. The ‘I got IT!’ promotion supports our on-going messaging campaign that Panasonic gets IT, which we define as both Information Technology and Intelligent Technology. This messaging has achieved considerable recognition throughout the security industry,” said Julianna Benedick, Director of Marketing for Panasonic System Solutions Company. “We handed out several thousand ‘I got IT!’ buttons at ASIS which further increased Panasonic’s presence beyond our physical booth space. Many attendees were spotted throughout Orlando wearing ‘I got IT’ buttons after show hours as well, which was an added bonus.”

To qualify for the promotion, attendees simply picked up an “I got IT!” button at Panasonic’s booth and wore it during the course of the show. Each day, a Panasonic spotter was dispatched to a predesignated area within the Orlando Convention Center to look for someone wearing the “I got IT!” button. Once spotted, the lucky individuals were escorted back to the Panasonic booth to record their information and arrange delivery of a Panasonic 42” Plasma TV.

The lucky winners are*:

Day 1 – Robert Leonard from Raytheon Systems in Goleta, CA

Day 2 – Kevin Yagi from CAMACC Systems, Inc. in Ontario, Canada

Day 3 – Darrell Baker from Will Electronics in Maryland Heights, MO
