The highlights at Fujifilm’s booth at Security Essen included a number of new megapixel varifocal lenses for day/night as well as high resolution telezoom lenses for long range surveillance applications in High Definition. The new lenses are compatible with cameras up to 5 megapixel resolutions and provide excellent images in HD quality to make surveillance more convenient.

Varifocal lenses: 3 and 5 megapixel for day/night

Three new models were available for Security to enlarge the wide product range of Varifocal lenses. The new lenses offer high resolutions of 3 megapixel and IR-correction for applications by day and night: YV3x6SR4A (f = 6~18 mm) and YV3.3x15SR4A (f = 15~50 mm) for a maximum sensor size of 1/2.7” and the DV4x12.5SR4A (f = 12.5~50 mm) for 1/1.8” sensors and a resolution of up to 5 megapixel.
The lenses are applicable for full HD CCTV Security systems to ensure safety 7 days / 24 hours. In addition all models are equipped with well-known Fujinon quality such as “AT” aspherical technology, locking screws for zoom and focus as well as metal mounts.

HD zoom lenses

The Telezoom D60x16.7SR4DE lens series features 2 megapixel resolution and 60x optical zoom. The lenses are designed for 1/1.8" sensors (or smaller) and cover a focal length range of f = 16.7~1000 mm. Due to the built-in 2x extender the focal length can be doubled and reaches up to a maximum focal length of f = 2000 mm. Equipped with Fujinon´s “day & night technology” surveillance with sharp and high-quality images by day and night is possible without focus shift when switching between day and night mode. A remote controllable built-in visible light cut filter (“fog-filter”) gives advantages in critical weather conditions such as fog and rain.

Additional features are available:

• Built-in optical image stabilisation to minimize image vibration even at long focal lengths
• Autofocus function for accurate and reliable focusing
• Precise lens control by PC via RS232C interface
