Integrated proximity card reader (125Hz).  Built-in speaker /microphone for alarm verification.  Supports the functional enhancements offered by the add-on modules SAK9S1 (key switch module) and SAK9L1 (annunciation module with function keys).  Up to 16 partitions (depending on the control unit type and software version) can be managed, with 4 partitions permanently displayed.
