Honeywell has announced the launch of the Vista 12 and Vista 48 hybrid intruder alarm control panels, which give business customers the flexibility of wireless in multiple zones, making their security systems more productive. Both the Vista 12 and Vista 48 comply with EN 50131-1 and TS50131-3 standards - Grade 2, Class II. "The Vista 12 and Vista 48 panels are versatile control panels, offering superior flexibility and extensive range to meet the demands and requirements of residential and small commercial installations," said Yves Pichon, Marketing Leader EMEA, Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics. "Moreover, the panels are quick to install, user-friendly and offer a wide variety of convenience functions." The Honeywell Vista 12 is a hybrid panel with capability for a maximum of 22 zones, of which up to 16 can be wireless. It is equipped with two outputs, which can be extended to four programmable relay outputs, or using the X10 transmitter, can drive up to four X10 modules for remote equipment control. The Vista 48 hybrid panel is ideal for commercial applications, offering 48 zones of which up to 40 can be wireless. Like the Vista 12 it also has two outputs for external equipment, but can extend to 16 programmable relay outputs or, using an X10 transmitter can enable up to 16 X10 modules. Each panel includes the following key features: - Ability to upload and download/service through the Compass software, from a remote location (via telephone line) or locally.
- Integrated analogue diallers and activity monitoring which enable alarm recording and diagnosis via remote access.
- Ability to set and unset the alarm using a proximity key fob, negating the need to memorise long and complicated codes.
- Ability for the user to define zone function.
The Vista 12 and Vista 48 are built with industry-leading Honeywell Domonial wireless technology and offer an extensive range of wired and wireless peripherals. These include four remote controls and two keypads, one of which with an integrated proximity reader. |
