Combining access events and CCTV footage is efficient, time saving and convenient. Integration has now been made even easier with the release of JVC Professionals new network video recorder. Ease of Operation JVC's NVR comes preconfigured with Milestone XProtect surveillance software and is capable of supporting up to 9 cameras (4 of them analogue). While Net2 monitors and logs all access events around a building, door cameras record and store the associated ‘event' images in Milestone XProtect. These are logged on the Net2 events screen with a camera icon next to them to show that an event is supported by video footage. By double clicking a camera icon, system users can view recorded images. This opens a separate window showing the user's photo along with the ‘event' footage. When an alarm event appears, such as forced entry, system users can discover how it was triggered by clicking the camera icon to view the video footage; a quick and efficient way to resolve security issues! Simple Installation Paxton Access' Net2 can control 100s of doors for up to 10,000 users, and was the first access control system to integrate with Milestone surveillance software. The JVC NVR (preloaded with Milestone software) utilises this compatibility with Net2, to make setting up access control with cameras a breeze!
