| Remote CCTV surveillance manufacturer, TeleEye, has successfully launched its NX range of IP network based products. The range includes a video server, two fixed domes and a 26x day/night high-speed dome. Utilising their own SMAC-M video compression technology, not the industry standard MPEG-4, data files for images of equivalent quality are up to 60% smaller. In IP network applications, the benefits are efficient video network transmission and extended DVR recording times. Duncan Ross, UK MD of TeleEye, explains, "The NX products can connect to existing office or dedicated security networks, including wireless networks. Our PC based viewing software enables multi-site, central station, mobile video and web browser monitoring, all suitable for remote site management and security applications. The entire range also supports mobile phone, live site viewing and control." The NX single channel video server features audio input and output, up to D1 refresh resolution and sureLink™ dynamic IP connectivity for transportable applications. The NX dome cameras include an IR, true day/night, vandal resistant, weather proof, fixed dome and its colour equivalent. The day/night dome also features a 3-axis gimble mount. The NX, 26x, day/night, weatherproof, high speed dome features 8 privacy zones, 128 presets and comes with power supply and wall mount as standard. |
