The cost-effective NetVu Connected DV-IP HD video server readily supports High Definition CCTV recording, playback and local HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) monitor output. In addition, a built-in TransCoding capability allows bandwidth optimised images to be streamed to remote operators without impacting the network In terms of potential customers, the DV-IP HD is being targeted at sectors where the recognition of faces to identify suspects from CCTV images - being viewed and recorded - is a key requirement. Typical applications are expected to include: retail, banking, corporate headquarters, town centre security and MOD installations.
