C-44 multi codec

The C-44 E-MC 4-channel video codec is the latest addition to the Siqura® Surveillance Solution family from Optelecom-NKF.  The C-44 is temperature hardened from -40º C to +74º C and supports "triple streaming" giving each channel different encoding options: MPEG-2 for the best video quality, MPEG-4 for achieving a balance between video quality and bandwidth capacity, and Motion JPEG for web-based applications.

Each stream can be optimised for applications ranging from low resolution time lapse recording for storage to full resolution and full frame rates for live viewing.  The C-44 is fully supported through its comprehensive web-interface and can be remotely managed by our broad range of Siqura® Software Solutions.  Finally, the C-44 further supports the Optelecom-NKF reputation for maximising product density and scalability by allowing a single 3RU chassis to fit up to 44 individual video channels.
