| Bosch Security Systems has introduced a new DVR4C four-camera digital video and audio recorder.
The high-performance, economical DVR4C system provides several weeks of uninterrupted video and audio recording from up to four cameras and four audio inputs, plus alarm handling, motion detection and local archiving. It is therefore ideal for 24-hour surveillance of businesses, shops or facilities that operate with only one or two people on duty.
The DVR4C uses industry-standard encoding, is equipped with built-in intelligent search capability and may be accessed remotely over standard telephone lines, LAN/WAN or Internet connections – features normally found only in high-end digital video recorders.
An owner or security officer can view live images, search and play back recorded images and change the system’s configuration remotely. Alarms and motion-triggered events generate an immediate email including a snapshot image of the scene. And all recordings contain embedded, permanent proof of authentication that can be used in legal proceedings.
The system also has a built-in USB port for local archiving of video and audio recordings. Recording in real-time and the use of high-capacity video compression permits clear image capture and efficient storage, which means that recordings of important events or incidents can easily be archived on a memory stick. - Built-in intelligent search capability and remote access through networks
- Immediate generation of email and scene snapshot image in alarm event
- Remote viewing of live images and search and playback of recorded images
- Easy archiving on memory stick via USB
