Samsung at Security Essen 2012
Samsung’s stand at Security Essen 2012 was dedicated to demonstrating its ability to support installers and system integrators with Smart Security solutions.
Smart Security is primarily about how customers can upgrade from an analogue system to an IP and network based solution in the smartest possible way for their businesses. Samsung want to prove to installers and systems integrators, as well as specifiers and end-users, how they can choose Samsung IP equipment and be confident it will meet, if not exceed, their expectations.
The Samsung stand featured a ‘play’ table where visitors were encouraged to get hands-on with the product. They were able to try the latest IP video surveillance and access control products and there were specific areas of the stand where Samsung’s security solutions for the commercial, education and transport sectors were on show.
"There was certainly no shortage of new IP network based products for visitors to see when they visit the Samsung stand,” said Gary Rowden, Sales & Marketing Director of Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd. “Our new affordable range of 1.3 & 3 megapixel HD network cameras should be of particular interest to installers as collectively they provide the flexibility to choose a cameras specification which matches a client’s specific requirements. These new camera models are capable of capturing evidence grade images, but are offered at a price which would make them affordable for the majority of office and retail video surveillance projects.”
Also on show was Samsung’s comprehensive range of RFID and Biometric technology based access control systems, which provide a cost effective solution for virtually any project, from a stand-alone single door solution, through to large or multi-sited applications.
