With the majority of readers having a functional appearance, the arrival of the Architectural reader from Paxton Access has provided building design professionals and facility managers with a stylish alternative. As proximity readers are the only part of a system on show, there was a need to provide one that would sympathise with its environment. This has been achieved by producing a reader that encourages customised finishes. The reader is built using high quality materials and is fully compatible with Switch2 and Net2 access control systems. Its simple contemporary design consists of two main parts; the reader and the insert. The reader is manufactured in 3 metallic finishes; gun-metal grey, matt black and satin chrome, while the inserts are available in stone, wood and glass; the last of which can be engraved with company name and logo. A template for the insert is also provided so that designers can utilise materials that match their design scheme perfectly. The reader is designed to be sunk into a wall to create a low profile and seamless transition. Although encouraging tailored finishes, the Architectural reader retains the hallmark of Paxton Access' reliability; which means that architects no longer have to substitute design over function. Main features: - Complements stylish and design-led environments
- Encourages tailored finishes to match surroundings
- Corporate logos can be displayed on glass insert
- Partially sunk for a low profile and seamless look
- Compatible with Switch2 and Net2 access control systems
