SourceSecurity.com launches SourceEN54.eu and Arecont cameras installed at Serbian Track & Field club

On today’s weekly round-up, SourceSecurity.com has announced the launch of SourceEN54.eu, a comprehensive information resource for the European voice alarm industry. The website features more than 300 products from makers of EN 54-certified voice alarm systems. Over in Serbia, the Vojvodina Track & Field club in Novi Sad has been using Arecont Vision’s 1.3 megapixel IP cameras so that athletes, and the order in which they finish, can be more easily identified. Also in application news, Fifth Third Bancorp has initiated an upgrade of its existing March Networks video surveillance systems.

In corporate news, EverFocus Electronics has appointed Michel Verhoeven as Exports Sales Director, thanks to his 15-year security-related experience. Telaid has joined the Sony Security Preferred Reseller (SSPR) Program. As a SSPR, Telaid will be leveraging Sony’s complete line of professional security video products in order to deliver robust solutions to its growing customer base for a variety of business applications.
