Tyco presents full product line at Intersec 2012 and Infinova acquires March Networks
On today’s weekly round-up, Tyco Security Products will be presenting a full line of access control, intrusion & video surveillance solutions at Intersec Expo 2012, Dubai, held from the 15th until the 17th of January at the Dubai International Convention Exhibition Centre. Also in corporate news, Ms Thandi St Leger has joined AMG’s International Business Development team with the view to expand their market share and increase focus in specific market verticals. Over in Canada, Infinova has acquired March Networks as an intelligent IP video solutions provider.
In events news, Olympic security has formed the main theme of the inaugural Business Crime Conference. The event was organised by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) in partnership with Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and Thames Valley Police forces, and in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses. In application news, a Swedish self-storage company has deployed QNAP’s powerful and open network storage. It plans to add more QNAP VioStor NVRs along with VIVOTEK fisheye cameras at new sites in planning and will expand beyond Sweden. Read more security news…
