Verint Nextiva networked video solution awarded 2005 “Product of the Year"

Published on 7 February 2006

Leading Global security publication, A&S International magazine, selects Nextiva for its breakthrough innovation and category leadership

Verint Systems Inc., a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for communications interception, networked video security and business intelligence, today announced that A&S International Magazine has named Verint’s Nextiva video management and analytics solution as a Prime Product of the Year award winner for 2005.  A&S International has been a leading information source for the global security industry since 1997.

According to A&S Magazine’s January, 2006 issue, “Our Prime Products of the Year award recognizes breakthrough solutions with a profound influence on the global security industry.  Our editors chose Verint’s Nextiva for its unique approach in combining video and other important security data and leveraging existing investments in IT infrastructure.”

Verint Nextiva is a robust platform and suite of software applications built on a standards-based, open architecture, engineered for scalability, rapid deployment, and ease of use in IP network environments.  Nextiva captures video, audio and data from a wide variety of devices transmitted over wireline and wireless networks.  Nextiva’s powerful rules-based engine and analytics enable effective follow-up action by rapidly distributing video, data, alarms and events to the appropriate security and operational personnel.

As a pioneer in the networked video market, Verint has a rich history of delivering sophisticated and innovative solutions to address the needs of our global customer base,” said Dan Bodner, President and CEO of Verint Systems.  “Nextiva represents the next generation of our market-leading networked video portfolio and its actionable intelligence enables government and commercial organizations to significantly enhance the security of their people and assets.
