
RISCO Group’s SynopSYS™ Security & Building Management Platform secures communications facilities
The challenge The communications provider owns and operates over 100 service centres throughout the country that vary in size, building structure and operating hours. Many of the service centres store expensive and sensitive merchandise. All of them require 24/7 monitoring from one central control room located at the company's headquarters. They therefore required a modular and flexible fully integrated management platform to control and monitor these sites. The solution would have to support future expansion of sites, as well as the integration of additional systems such as Access Control, Video, and ProSYS Integrated Security System. The solution RISCO Group's SynopSYS™ Security & Building Management platform was chosen as the solution that met all the requirements. SynopSYS™ provides a single user friendly interface for a large number of users that enables the company to get an overall picture of remote sites, each with its own operating hours, required security levels, and various applications integrated into the system. SynopSYS' user friendly and intuitive interface with simple definitions allows for fast and simple project setup and operation. SynopSYS™ offered a modular and scalable solution that catered to the company's dynamic nature, which regularly opens new branches. RISCO Group's ProSYS Security System was installed in all of the service centres. Each centre contains a ProSYS 128 panel that communicates via an ACM TCP/IP card. All security equipment in the service centres communicate with the SynopSYS server, which is located in the head office control room. Highlights
