Honeywell Video Systems announces UK marketing leader

Honeywell today announced James Somerville Smith has been appointed UK marketing leader for Honeywell Video Systems, part of Honeywell Systems Group.  Based at the Runcorn office, James is responsible for developing and marketing the full Honeywell Video Systems range to meet customer needs in the UK, as well as exploring the integration capabilities of the full Honeywell Security product range. 

James's career in the security industry spans more than 10 years and he joins Honeywell from distribution, where most recently he has worked in a consultancy role establishing new business development models.  Prior to that, he worked for eight years with a distributor of security and low voltage products, where he was marketing and purchasing director.  James brings a wealth of experience from the security industry and all aspects of marketing.

James comments: "This is an exciting time to join Honeywell Video Systems as the business is rapidly developing and will launch several major products in the UK in the coming months, and where the company is at the forefront in developing integrated security solutions."
