The S1700e provides an option to use IEEE 802.3af compliant Power-over-Ethernet support which simplifies installation, reduces cabling runs and can send up to 5 watts (12VDC) of power to a camera.
Ideal for high-resolution video monitoring and surveillance applications, the S1700e delivers 4CIF, 25 frames per second, MPEG-4-based video over 10/100Base-T networks using cat 5, fibre optic and wireless media. The server, in conjunction with Verint’s wireless devices supports both simple ‘point-to-point’ (S1100w) and complex multi-point (S3100) wireless system configurations.
Incorporating remotely upgradeable firmware and extended temperature range options, the S1700e is robust, reliable and easy to maintain - with the S1700e, intelligent anywhere/anytime video becomes a practical reality.
The S1700e provides a single camera input, and is part of a wider range of video servers; the S1708e provides 8 inputs and the S1712e provides up to 12 camera inputs. The Power-over-Ethernet option is only available with the S1700e. |
