| Axis Communications have released the Axis 206 network camera in two unique variations - the smallest ever megapixel network camera and smallest ever wireless network camera.
Aimed at entry-level users who will benefit from both wireless and improved resolution, particular applications include the retail and educational sectors.
- Key features include: CMOS based progressive scan sensor comparable to CCD for superior image quality capture, especially in low light conditions, and motion JPEG compression to ensure high quality transmission.
- Megapixel (Axis 206M) - maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024 supporting HDTV 16:9 format and up to 12 Fps.
- Wireless (Axis 206W) - first wireless WiFi (802.116) network camera from Axis offering 640 x 480 resolution and up to 30 Fps.
