Verint Systems presented several new features and applications from its Nextiva™ range of next-generation video management technology at Security Essen. On show for the first time in Europe, the latest release of Nextiva Video Management Software has an Enterprise user right management feature to manage complex user right priorities. This means that tasks can be easily delegated without giving full Video Management Platform access, and untrained and/or unauthorised users are not able to gain access to accidentally or deliberately change systems' configuration. The latest release of Nextiva also allows Enterprise network management including VPN, dual NIC, NAT/firewall, transcoding and bandwidth support. This enables authorised users to see video using their standard corporate VPN infrastructure. It also reduces maintenance, contributing to a lower total cost of ownership. In addition, Verint demonstrated their video analytics solution developed specifically for the retail environment, which analyses shopper behaviour, enabling users to understand how customers shop, their interaction with merchandise, response to advertising/promotions, and journey throughout the store. Verint also demonstrated the features and benefits of its latest wireless video devices and IP cameras, which leverage its video encoding technology for high resolution, network sensitive viewing and analytics at the edge. |
