| At present, high-end speed-dome type large surveillance cameras are mainly used at large-scale facilities where security systems are installed (e.g. department stores, shopping malls, casinos, railway stations, etc). Lenses mainly used for such speed-dome-cameras are 20-25X zoom lenses for the 1/4" format. Envisioning growing demand for high-end speed-dome type surveillance cameras at small-to-medium scale facilities as well in the near future, Tamron has developed an ultra-compact, high-performance built-in zoom lens that enables camera makers to develop compact speed-dome type cameras in a 1/3" format best suited for the scale of such facilities. Main Features: - Ultra-compact, yet boasts 12X zoom power with the employment of two glass-moulded aspherical elements. Resulting in high definition and high-contrast images over the entire zoom range.
- High optical quality down to the minimum aperture. F/1.6-360.
- Clear images through the employment of BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) multi-layer coating, exhibits its power from visible light to infrared range.
- Surveillance for 24 hours a day is possible owing to the innovative IR switchover mechanism built into the lens.
- Tamron's original "C-MOS embedded array", an auto-focus circuit board optimised for compact lenses.
- Internal reflections inside the lens barrel are minimised by the employment of clever mechanisms to provide clear images.
- External dimension optimised for incorporation into compact speed-dome cameras.
- Highly advanced manufacturing technologies for producing highly accurate parts.
- Environmentally friendly design. Electric/electronic components are completely lead-free, and compatible with the RoHS regulations.
